According to a new report from TMZ, which was published today (July 18), Mrs. West is working to help free A$AP Rocky. Jul 16, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

Lauren London has filed to establish guardianship of Kross Asghedom, her 2-year-old son with Nipsey Hussle. In doing so, she is legally making sure that her son is protected. The court documents include a statement from London, which reveals the amount of money that Kross is set to inherit from Hussle’s estate.

London reportedly writes that Kross is “anticipated to inherit approximately One Million Dollars at the close of” Nipsey Hussle’s estate. The actress also states that she is the person who is responsible for Kross right now, taking care of him and keeping his best interests at heart. 10-year-old Emani Asghedom was listed as Kross’ sibling in the documents.

There has been a lot of information coming out about Nipsey Hussle, his murder, and his family in recent months. It’s now been a while since the Los Angeles native was gunned down in the parking lot of his The Marathon Clothing shop, which remains one of the most tragic moments in the history of hip-hop. Kross never truly got a chance to know his father, which is one of the saddest things about this whole situation. Long Live Nipsey Hussle.

Nipsey Hussle Was Secretly Being Investigated By The LAPD For Gang Activity

Jul 16, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

The late Nipsey Hussle is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the city attorney’s office, the New York Times reports. According to the Times, Hussle, his business associates and his Marathon Clothing store are under investigation to determine if the strip mall location of Hussle’s store was a center for gang activity.

The investigation began before Hussle was murdered in March 2019 and is ongoing. It’s unclear what sparked the investigation. A spokesman for the LAPD declined to comment on the specifics of the investigation, but told the Times that police are negotiating with Hussle’s partners on the property “to mitigate some of the crime issues.”

The city pressured Hussle’s former landlords to evict the rapper and his associates as part of the investigation, according to the Times report. However, the former owners instead sold the property to Hussle and a group of investors.

City Council member Marqueece Harris-Dawson, who represents South Los Angeles, told the Times that his office has been working for years to seek more information on the investigation on behalf of Hussle and his business partners.

“I think everybody in the community will do everything we can to make sure the ventures he started will continue,” he said. “And this is a very confusing hiccup in this process.”

Meek Mill Shares Parole Restrictions & Not Being Able To Pick Up Son From School

Jul 16, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

Meek Mill will return to court on Tuesday to argue that his 2008 conviction on gun and drug charges should be overturned.

Mill became a symbol for criminal justice reform in 2017 when a Philadelphia judge sentenced him to two to four years in prison for minor probation violations. He would go on to spend months behind bars before a court ordered him to be released in April 2018.

In this excerpt of his exclusive interview with “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King, Mill talks about the complications and limitations of life on probation.

GAYLE KING: You have to get permission to travel?

MEEK MILL: Yes, even if it’s to the next county over. If it’s out of the city, if you don’t ask for permission, you could get the rest of your probation time given to you as jail time legally.

GAYLE KING:  Taking your son to school, you have to call and get permission.

MEEK MILL: Yes. My son lived in New Jersey, but I lived in Philadelphia, and the bridge is a 15-minute ride. It’s just a bridge. I couldn’t go get my son from school when I wanted to, ’cause you know, some days I would get off work early. I would just have a free day, and I would just want to pop up at my son’s school and get him from school. I’d been out of town for two weeks in a row workin’. Can’t really do it.

Lil Baby Reveals That He Used To Pay Gunna $100 To Write His Songs

Jul 16, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

The young rap star is not shy to admit that he just started being a rapper. Lil Baby revealed in a sit down interview that he use to pay Gunna $100 a verse that Gunna wrote for him. Baby says he had Gunna write for him so he could learn how to rap the right way when he first started out rapping.

Lil Baby doesn’t consider Gunna a friend in the industry because their relationship is way deeper than that. Of course, every song they hop on together is fire and these days, it’s not uncommon to see the “Drip Too Hard” duo being tapped as features on the same song. Baby spoke to 16BARS in Europe where he explained that Gunna used to help him write songs for a fee back in the day.”He was already rapping — I kick it with him, fuck with him and then I start rapping. And he actually started helping me rap,” Baby explained. “I done paid Gunna to write my songs. I never put the songs out but when I first started to rap, I used to like pay him $100 to like, ‘Like I’mma give you a hundred, write something for me so I could go in and learn how to record it.’ Like I ain’t never like, recorded the songs and put ’em out but that’s how I used to like practice.”

The Game Just Lost All Of His Royalties To Priscilla Rainey In Sexual Assault Judgement

Jul 15, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

In 2015, Priscilla Rainey sued The Game for $10 million for sexually assaulting her on his VH1 reality show She’s Got Game.

The Game never showed up in court to fight the charges, so a judge awarded her $7.1 million. The Game has tried his best to Birdman that settlement away, but it looks like the gig is up.

A judge recently granted a motion brought by Priscilla Rainey that will allow her to collect any money that comes in for The Game from his record label or royalties paid to him until the $7.1 million is paid off.

“Any and all rights, title, and interest of Defendant from the following companies in the form of, among other things, commission, royalties, contract receivables, deferred compensation, income, wages, payroll, salary, and accounts receivable: Sound Exchange, Inc., 733 10th Street NW, 10th Floor, Washington, D.C. 20001; and Entertainment One U.S. LP, Attn: Michael Healy, 22 Harbor Park Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050. “

The judge said any money owed to The Game will be paid directly to Rainey. The order warns the rapper if he fails to comply with the court order he may be found in contempt of court.

Earlier this year, Rainey asked a judge to assign her all rights, title, and royalties to any money or payments owed to The Game. She explained The Game is set to release his new album “Born to Rap” later this year.

Rainey said he still owes her $7,254,123.18 on the court judgment she won and wants all his “Born to Rap” royalties to be paid to her until the debt is settled.

She also pointed out that the rapper has blasted her on social media and publicly claimed he has no intention of paying her. Rainey asked for the court to award her the royalties.

Priscilla Rainey was a contestant on The Game’s VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game.” In her 2015 lawsuit, she claimed that during production the rapper sexually assaulted her by forcefully reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.

A jury awarded her $7 million in damages

Soulja Boy Released From Jail 5 Months Earlier For “Good Behavior”

Jul 14, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

The 28-year-old rapper was released from a Los Angeles jail on Sunday just before 2 a.m., records show, after serving a little more than three months behind bars for a probation violation. He was originally sentenced to 240 days, and was freed almost five months early due to good behavior, time served and overcrowding, TMZ quoted the L.A. Sheriff’s Department as saying.

Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Way, was arrested in March for allegedly having firearms and ammunition, and a judge also said he failed to complete his court-ordered community service. He was jailed a month later for violating his probation. At the time, a court spokesperson said the rapper would have to complete 225 days of community service, having already completed 40 days.

The “Crank That” rapper and producer was sentenced due to a violation of his probation, following his failure to complete his court-ordered community service, and then attempting to falsify evidence that he had completed said community service. Though his attorney attempted to explain to the judge how Soulja had experienced a remorseful “awakening” during the previous 20 days, it still didn’t prompt the judge to go any easier on him. 40 days were credited from his sentence however, due to time he had already previously served. But now, headlines have revealed that the artist is actually being let out of today, just under 5 months earlier than his originally stated sentencing.

50 Cent’s Ex-Manager Chaz “Slim” Williams Passes Away:

Jul 14, 2019 by admin - 0 Comments

This weekend, news surfaced that Chaz Williams passed away a few days ago. While his family is yet to reveal details to the public, the New York legend hadn’t been seen on social media since late April.

In the past, Chaz was one of the most respected people within the city of New York, launching his Black Hand Inc. company. The native of Southside Jamaica, Queens also helped manage the career of fellow neighborhood member 50 Cent, leading up to his deal with the majors in the early 2000s. Along with having close ties to Tupac Shakur and JAY-Z, we never heard anybody talk down or speak any negativity around the name of Mr. Williams.

News of Chaz “Slim” Williams’ passing has begun making the rounds on social media, in spite of his family’s reluctance to confirm it as such. The esteemed founder of Black Hand Entertainment was a notorious figure in the New York streets, who managed 50 Cent in the early stage of his career. Much of Williams’ reputation was founded on the type of insider trading that doesn’t leave much a paper trail at all. Oldish heads are likely to recall the infamous line in which 50 Cent laments losing “Slim” to an act of betrayal, in the memorable 2nd verse of “Many Men” off his classic debut Get Rich or Die Tryin.
