50 Cent’s Ex-Manager Chaz “Slim” Williams Passes Away:

This weekend, news surfaced that Chaz Williams passed away a few days ago. While his family is yet to reveal details to the public, the New York legend hadn’t been seen on social media since late April.

In the past, Chaz was one of the most respected people within the city of New York, launching his Black Hand Inc. company. The native of Southside Jamaica, Queens also helped manage the career of fellow neighborhood member 50 Cent, leading up to his deal with the majors in the early 2000s. Along with having close ties to Tupac Shakur and JAY-Z, we never heard anybody talk down or speak any negativity around the name of Mr. Williams.

News of Chaz “Slim” Williams’ passing has begun making the rounds on social media, in spite of his family’s reluctance to confirm it as such. The esteemed founder of Black Hand Entertainment was a notorious figure in the New York streets, who managed 50 Cent in the early stage of his career. Much of Williams’ reputation was founded on the type of insider trading that doesn’t leave much a paper trail at all. Oldish heads are likely to recall the infamous line in which 50 Cent laments losing “Slim” to an act of betrayal, in the memorable 2nd verse of “Many Men” off his classic debut Get Rich or Die Tryin.
